Background At present, one third of the world's tire production is in China. Continental, founded in 1871, has entered the Chinese market since 1996. Because of its professional technology and industry influence, Continental has won the recognition of the majority of consumers. During its initial promotion, Continental spread its brand value in traditional advertising forms such as TVC, outdoor display advertising and vertical. However, since the whole market has become saturated and the marketing promotion strategies of competitors are almost the same, consumers lack value recognition and emotional resonance for the brand, resulting in slow sales growth. ThinkVision 15th Anniversary B2C Global Social Campaign

The hardcore B2B tech brand first approach to click through B2C
Lenovo has been designing computer monitors for business use under the ThinkVision brand for 15 years. They offer full-function ergonomic stands, high performance specifications, multiple connectivity options and great value pricing. Over this time, it had exclusively used a channel marketing approach to communications giving its distributors all of the information and collaterals they needed to sell the product to their customers. Now in its anniversary year, it was time to think differently about ThinkVision marketing. Lenovo wanted to create a global brand enhancement program for ThinkVision that would connect directly with business customers and help drive sales with its distributors.

Kinect in Space

Studio City Macau—a member of MELCO—is set apart from its competition by positioning itself as Macau’s casino for fun and entertainment. While other casinos in the region focus on retail and shopping experiences, Studio City rotates through different cinematic and entertainment themes. Each lasts a few months and features relevant activations throughout the casino. Oglivy approached Shadow Factory to help Studio City create an interactive experience for a very large and underutilized digital screen inside the casino during its “Aliens Are Coming” theme. Shadow Factory was tasked with creating an activation that was suitable for all ages, did not require staff, controllers, or internet access to operate, and had to be able to run for three months uninterrupted. The experience also had to reflect the branding and campaign around “Aliens Are Coming” and intermittently switch to advertising.

Merck KGaA (“Merck”) is a world leading science and technology company in healthcare, life science and related performance materials. In 2015, Merck kicked off the first ever global research on curiosity in the workplace, the first step made by the company to unlock the power of curiosity. It was also a critical move for Merck in establishing its brand image as a world leading technology enterprise and innovator. In 2016, Merck took its Curiosity Initiative to China. As Merck’s public relations consultant in the Asia Pacific region, SPRG was able to localize the “curiosity concept” for easy grasp by the Chinese people and executed a series of publicity activities including online communications, celebrity/option leader outreach, online ads, high-level content marketing and media events.

The past five years have seen football clubs and sporting clubs in general struggle to retain fan loyalty and interaction due to the rapid rise of social media. For English Premier League club West Ham United, listed by Forbes as one of the twenty most valuable football clubs in the world, their major challenge was to attract fans back to their official website. Fans had strayed to various online environments such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other sporting websites and apps. With their upcoming stadium move in mid-2016 to the world class Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, it was crucial for the Club to re-engage with fans through a revitalised official website with a visually stunning design and captivating content.

Revamp

Ocean Park Hong Kong needed to revive its digital presence to reflect its status as Hong Kong’s premier theme park and as the city’s ultimate destination of excitement. The greatest challenge was in consolidating over 1000 pages of content into a fun and easy to browse website that allowed users to intuitively discover exactly what they wanted to see, across all devices.
