MasterChef Asia 2015

MasterChef Asia 2015 is the first pan-regional version of the world’s most successful reality cooking contest format. Commissioned by A+E Networks Asia for the Lifetime channel, SPRG was brought on to promote the show to local audiences. With other editions of the MasterChef franchise on competing channels, the challenge was to establish Lifetime as the “home” of MasterChef in Asia.

Maximising the Potential of Sinomax

Maximising the Potential of Sinomax is a campaign that we developed for assisting Sinomax in its primary listing and fund raising exercise in Hong Kong. Among the challenges to overcome included the lacklustre economies of the PRC and US which further dampened consumption, concerns over the quality of listed companies rose following a spate of profit warnings issued by several new listings and the competition with numerous companies for media and investor interest, with 47 IPOs launched between June and August 2014 and six IPO media conferences held on the same day. Moreover, Sinomax’s former management was found guilty of smuggling common goods into China in 2004, this incident casted a shadow on the new management, and jeopardised the company’s listing plan.

Siemens: The Taste of China

The campaign exemplifies a true INTEGRATED branded content execution that utilizes paid, owned and earned media channels to communicate Siemen’s range of kitchen products. Normally, TV sponsorship entitlements granted by CCTV only exists within the program. But Siemens went beyond the usual and extended the partnership in retail, product roadshows, mobile app and owned social media channels.

Immortalizing Happiness: MetLife Hong Kong’s Infinity App

MetLife Hong Kong launched their Infinity app and sought earned media coverage to further publicize the app’s unique features. However, they were unfamiliar with local media environment and had no experience working with journalists.

Designed to make people feel positive today through mobile, the Infinity app is a unique virtual time capsule, focusing on positive moments in life. It allows people to capture, store and share these special memories with their loved ones at a predetermined time in the future.
