Strategic consultation and narrative development for Hyundai across the ASEAN region

Identifying anxiety around EV adoption as the main challenge for communications to tackle, Hyundai Motor Asia Pacific Headquarter) entrusted Klikpr to design specific and targeted PR narratives and campaigns to answer concerns toward range, charging infrastructure, and more. The agency had to have the capacity to craft strategic umbrella narratives aimed at strengthening the company’s positioning and mindshare as the leading mobility innovator in the region. At the same time, these umbrella narratives had to be broad enough to be paired with local insights, repurposed and broken down for use in individual markets across ASEAN. The agency was also tasked with building relationships with region-wide media.

Asia is the largest continent in the global life insurance segment, accounting for 38% of premium collected in the year 2016. However, India has been amongst the largest highly under-penetrated insurance country. (Swiss Re Institute Sigma No3/2017 Report). Challenge:

Macro-Level - India itself being a lowest penetrated insurance market, it was important to educate the masses on a specific insurance solutions vertical – PROTECTION
Micro-Level - Considering that other bigger insurance players had much wider protection product portfolio and stronger distribution network, it was important to position ABSLI as a brand that understands the specific protection requirements of the customers and provides need-based solutions

Maximising the Potential of Sinomax

Maximising the Potential of Sinomax is a campaign that we developed for assisting Sinomax in its primary listing and fund raising exercise in Hong Kong. Among the challenges to overcome included the lacklustre economies of the PRC and US which further dampened consumption, concerns over the quality of listed companies rose following a spate of profit warnings issued by several new listings and the competition with numerous companies for media and investor interest, with 47 IPOs launched between June and August 2014 and six IPO media conferences held on the same day. Moreover, Sinomax’s former management was found guilty of smuggling common goods into China in 2004, this incident casted a shadow on the new management, and jeopardised the company’s listing plan.

My Hong Kong Guide

We work very closely with the Hong Kong Tourism Board on their many campaigns, both locally and internationally. This year we launched the “My Hong Kong Guide” app for web, digital devices and Facebook, created to capture experiences of travellers to Hong Kong while managing their travel itineraries, offering suggestions of places of interest and having the ability to add friends and engage with other travelers based on interest, travel period and personal blogs.
