Chow Sang Sang was looking to reinvigorate their website in design and user experience, as well as to create a better user journey for ecommerce.
Planning & Execution
Chow Sang Sang, Hong Kong’s premier jewellery brand launched their brand new website less than two weeks ago moving from a traditional system to a cloud based platform solution that enables reliable delivery through a high performance and reliable infrastructure to manage and host both their Hong Kong and China sites.
Utilizing Microsoft’s public Cloud service Azure, Designercity created a multi-functional ecommerce and brand platform that is sophisticated and designed to ensure business continuity with multiple load balanced servers, geo-replicated databases and storage systems, together with a vast network of CDN to enhance last mile delivery performance. With hosting managed in two separate Azure datacenters, one in Hong Kong and one in China, Chow Sang Sang sites are easily customizable to suit their local market’s needs without any downtime or interruptions. This is the most cost-effective solution for brands, as they do not have to invest in hardware, storage space or technical support as Microsoft Azure manages the entire infrastructure within this sophisticated monitoring system.
Within Chow Sang Sang’s Mongkok store, Designercity also introduced a magic mirror that allows customers to try on necklaces virtually via a 40” touchscreen. In this instance users can take a photo or record a video with a touch of a button. Using Azure cloud solution, customers can receive their video or image by scanning a QR code to allow them to share it with friends via social media, initiating a call to action.
