POCO Indonesia - Being a brand guardian angel

Klikpr was selected to be POCO’s PR partner for three consecutive years, each year bringing its own unique challenges for the agency to address. The first year was particularly challenging: with POCO only recently being established as its own identity independent of Xiaomi, the one question to answer was how to make the upstart brand stand out from its parent company and in a sea of near-identical smartphone offerings. Another not-so-easy challenge to answer was dispelling public perception towards POCO as a ‘cheap’ brand and instead shift the audience’s perspective to align with its brand value: extreme performance at extreme price. Thirdly, instead of just wide, POCO went for deep: targeting very hypersegmented audience niches including gamers, skateboarders, fashion designers, and many such creative types. Tea so nice, Brits won’t shut up about it

If there’s one thing that the Brits are known for, it’s tea! Over 100 million cuppas are drunk every day in the UK, making the Brits one of the world’s largest tea consumers. As tea connoisseurs, they have their favourites - with Yorkshire Tea coming out on top in a recent poll. Last year, Yorkshire Tea launched down under and has since been ranked the best-tasting black tea in Australia by CHOICE. To celebrate, whilst raising awareness for Aussies who haven’t yet tried Yorkshire Tea, we launched a cheeky OOH and experiential campaign in Sydney and Melbourne.

The PUMA #CaliTravelog was one of PUMA Southeast Asia’s biggest marketing campaigns of the year. The six-month-long campaign was developed to promote the relaunch of the iconic ‘80s sneakers, the PUMA Cali across Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. The Appliances & Electronics World Expo (AWE) has become the world’s leading platform and the biggest stage for household appliances brands within the Chinese market – a segment that reached RMB810 billion in value in 2018. In 2019, over 900 exhibitors were set to participate in AWE, which would hosted more than 350,000 visitors over four days. Both numbers of exhibitors and visitors set the exhibition record over the past five years.
So many potential customers, but at the same time – so many pressing competitors.
Haier, as one of the industry’s leading brands, was poised to present its newest technology and smart home system. AWE could not be a better place to show it off to the world. Lenovo has been designing computer monitors for business use under the ThinkVision brand for 15 years. They offer full-function ergonomic stands, high performance specifications, multiple connectivity options and great value pricing. Over this time, it had exclusively used a channel marketing approach to communications giving its distributors all of the information and collaterals they needed to sell the product to their customers. Now in its anniversary year, it was time to think differently about ThinkVision marketing. Lenovo wanted to create a global brand enhancement program for ThinkVision that would connect directly with business customers and help drive sales with its distributors.
