Microsoft partnered with Quantum in Cambodia on a campaign warning consumers and businesses that pirated software could be infected with viruses and malware that could cause costly damage to a company’s IT infrastructure.

Quantum put all its event management, PR and protocol experience at the company’s disposal to ensure a high-level event in the capital Phnom Penh which was attended by a carefully targeted audience of government officials, CEO’s and key decision makers as well as the media. Quantum handled everything from marketing of the event, inviting guests, ministerial protocols, layout of the venue and media coverage.
Effectiveness / Results
Microsoft’s key message about the risks of using pirated software and buying computers with pirated software pre-installed was received by key decision makers and the media. Microsoft’s senior regional executive who was in attendance described the event as a ‘huge success’.
