DrugFreeSG Pop-Up 2022

The objective of the event, The DrugFreeSG Pop-Up, is organised as part of the annual Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign (ADAC) aims to increase ground presence, raise awareness, educate members of the public on the dangers of drug abuse and rally support for the anti-drug cause.

Planning & Execution

In an environment where the public were still hesitant to participate in such experiences, it was definitely a challenge to capture and engage passersby to participate.

With the development of technology and its integration in event experiences, the landscape of brand activations has shifted. Now, the traditional pop-up become less captivating and can no longer satisfy the desire of the Youths - who are known for their short attention spans.

By incorporating modern technology to create immersive and interactive activities we can overcome all these challenges.

OUR CONCEPT:
Other than the conventional way of education, we aim to create more fun and meaningful engagement which is an essential aspect of effective learning. The enclosed concept helps to stimulate curiosity to the public walking by and providing them with an opportunity to immerse themselves in our stimulation rooms.

BENEFITS OF IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE:
- Immersive technologies allow for realistic simulations of complex or hazardous situations.
- Promotes active participants rather than passive observers
- Immersive experiences evoke strong emotional responses which enhances understanding, active learning and
retention of information.
- Delivering the message to the target audience's through first-hand experience.

We designed the booth by integrating a series of experiential elements to create an immersive experience showcasing the after effects of drug abuse. To arouse the public’s curiosity, the exterior of the booth was designed to be simple, with minimal information about the booth build-up.

Bringing in psychological and physical aspects, participants can customise their own experiential path based on the emoticon chosen which symbolise

  • Methamphetamine

  • New Psychoactive Substance

  • Cannabis
