Rendezvous with You

Alongside a new brand identity, Rendezvous Hotels also wanted to introduce the new Orchard Rendezvous Hotel – its second property in Singapore.

The three key objectives of the launch were:

  • To ensure that Rendezvous’ identity is known to the world by establishing a significant presence in target markets that attract and retain loyal customers.

  • To showcase Rendezvous’ key features and elements that bring out the new brand pillars: Romance the City, Romance the Culture, and Romance Life.

  • To unveil a new member (Orchard Rendezvous Hotel) under the Rendezvous brand and draw distinct differentiation between the two Rendezvous properties.

Planning & Execution

LEWIS set out to highlight the unique traits of its two hotels by engaging the brand’s loyal social community. Titled “Rendezvous With You”, we conceptualised a brand video with an interactive split-screen, telling the story of a couple and the chemistry they share despite being apart. Each of them were situated at one Rendezvous property – Rendezvous Hotel Singapore and Orchard Rendezvous Hotel.

The footage incorporate the couple’s actions, together with the places they venture around the hotel, highlighting the things they wish they could do together. The aims is to showcase not only the timelessness and elegance through the journey in the hotels, but to also to tap onto the element of romance manifested through the couple’s love for each other.

Effectiveness / Results

With the launch of the rebranding campaign, LEWIS delivered significant improvements in engagement and reach, securing high traffic to both properties.

During the course of our on-going campaigns the property secured 9th position in Social Bakers ‘Top 10 most engaging brands on Facebook’ in January 2018. In the following year, RendezVous Hotels jumped to 4th position in Social Baker’s 2019 Top 10 Most Engaging Brands from Singapore.
