Halloween Campaign Site 2014

Ocean Park was looking for a customer-friendly, content-rich app for customer retention and enhanced in-park customer experience.

Planning & Execution

In response, Designercity created a feature rich app that includes an Ocean Park Map that is easy to read with a built in and will tell visitors the wait time for all the shows with regular updates built in. A QR code was designed to access surprises, offers and E-Coupons, which seamlessly links back to the Ocean Park mini-site. The app is customizable to support Ocean Park’s CRM activities including seasonable events such as Halloween, Christmas, CNY and other major festivals. Overall, the app is designed to give visitors the best experience at the park through an enhanced digital platform.

To create excitement by bringing an interactive web experience with mobile connected solution, to promote the Day & Night experiences in contrast that one could get in the park, the homepage theme is easily changeable just by shaking your mobile phone.

We also developed 4 mini-games with mobile pairing experience: Doraemon, Zombie, Movie Studio and “Madicine” Hall. By scanning a QR on the website, user can connect to a mobile interface, just by following a simple instructions there, like clicking a start button, tapping on a character on the mobile screen, a series of effect will unfold on the desktop screen.

Effectiveness / Results

Ocean Park received 100,000+ downloads from both IOS & Android users when we first launched the mobile app, a testament to the success of this project.
