Black cats are not unlucky, and this campaign proves it

Brazil-based NGO and Leo Burnett Tailor Made entered a black cat in a bunch of contests to disprove a superstition that stops people from adopting such felines.

An NGO called Adote Um Gatinho (Adopt a Kitten) and Leo Burnett Tailor Made entered a cat named Lucky, which had been waiting for some time for adoption, in a boatload of contests. And of course, in accordance with the odds of those contests, it won some of them. Eighteen of them over six months to be exact, snagging swag such as a new tablet, a TV subscription, headphones, a Playstation, yoga classes and free soda at McDonalds.

Conclusion: Black cats aren't unlucky, and people should consider adopting them.

This was news to Ad Nut, but apparently, just like with those "gay" turtles a while back, rejecting a beautiful animal because of some mindless bigotry is a common thing among humans. You are such strange creatures. Seriously.

Ad Nut is a big fan of the scientific method, supports animal adoption, and abhors both superstiton and prejudice (except against dogs, those murderous beasts), so this campaign obviously gets high marks.
