Kenvue appoints Madhav Nayak as APAC CMO

The former Yum marketer will lead Kenvue's brands Johnson’s, Neutrogena, Listerine, Aveeno, Band-Aid, among others, in APAC.

Kenvue has appointed Madhav Nayak as vice president and chief marketing officer for Asia-Pacific. Nayak takes on the role after more than three years leading marketing for KFC Asia across a number of key regional markets from 2021 to 2025.

Confirming the news via a LinkedIn post, Nayak said, “This is an incredible opportunity to shape the future of some of the world's most iconic brands—Johnson’s, Neutrogena, Listerine, Aveeno, Band-Aid, and more—in a large, growing and strategic region for the business. I am privileged to lead the APAC marketing organisation, and I look forward to partnering with the outstanding Kenvue teams across the region and around the world.”

Kenvue has recently appointed Publicis and WPP as its media and creative agencies following a global review. The former consumer healthcare arm of Johnson & Johnson has handed creative and production for all brands except Neutrogena to WPP, and media, influencer, commerce, healthcare professional support and technology to Publicis. Publicis will also handle the creative and production for Neutrogena.

Nayak brings close to two decades of experience at FMCG giant Unilever, Meta and Yum Brands. During his tenure at KFC Asia, the brand recorded high single-digit sales growth in 2023. He was also recognised in the Campaign Asia-Pacific Power List in 2023 and 2024 for his marketing contributions. 

Beyond brand leadership roles, Nayak has been active in industry and education circles. A regular at marketing forums, including Campaign360, served on awards juries, and continues to mentor students and young marketers. Since 2024, he has also been an adjunct faculty member and executive-in-residence at Singapore Management University, where he teaches brand strategy on the MBA programme and supports industry-academia engagement.

Nayak conitnues to be based in Singapore for the role.
