You'll laugh when you see why these people are so emotional

Thailand's Bar-B-Q Plaza introduces a new item, melodramatically.

Ad Nut finds that this ad from Thailand's Bar-B-Q Plaza not only makes fun of overly dramatic Thai ads but also does a good job showing the benefits of a new grill pan designed for use in the brand's restaurants.

This is certainly a better campaign than a past effort that was too manipulative for Ad Nut's taste (see Restaurant chain serves heaping helpings of guilt for Thai mother's day) and it's probably better than another ad that, although well intentioned, associated the brand with dog food

The video above has more than 2.5 million views, and there's also a more straightforward pan-benefit clip that has nearly 750,000.
