MK Restaurant | Liveliness is All Rround | Thailand

Thai steamboat restaurant chain MK Restaurant has released a television commercial to modernize the brand as a hip and chic place for all ages.

Maintaining the homely and healthy image in consumers’ minds is one of the key challenges for MK as the food and beverage industry is fierce in Thailand. The client brief for creative agency JWT is to bring the food to life. The creative team said that in light of “the declining economic situation, MK would also like to take the opportunity to offer liveliness to people's lives.”

A hot steamboat might not be appealing when the summer season is here, but MK is reminding Thailand that the restaurant is also a good place to enjoy a refreshing ice cream or simply to hang out. The commercial features happy actors and actresses carrying gigantic ingredients with a cheerful soundtrack to bring out the fun in the brand. The soundtrack can be downloaded through the MK website.

The campaign is also running on radio, online and outdoor billboards.
