Holi-dazed III: Ad Nut's less ridiculous holiday ad review
In 2016 and 2017, our pal Ad Nut (the squirrel that writes about new advertising for us; it's a long story) went overboard with holiday-ad coverage, posting upwards of 70 Christmas-themed ads from all over the world (see the links to "Holi-dazed" and "Holi-dazed II" below). This year, we staged an intervention and convinced Ad Nut that mainlining holiday cheer to such an obsessive degree is not entirely healthy. And it worked. Ad Nut has shown admirable restraint this year, covering only a handful of holiday ads from APAC that really deserved notice, for better or worse.
