MMA brand One Championship signed a partnership agreement with Adobe. The sports brand will use  Adobe Experience Cloud tools to bolster its OTT and mobile offerings as it seeks to diversify its broadcast options. Using analytics and audience insight tools, One Championship said it hopes to offer consumers more personalised, relevant content, as well as seek to build on the Adobe platform with AR and VR in the future. 

MediaCom appointed Phil Romans, former chairman and general manager of DDB Worldwide Guangzhou, as managing director in Guangzhou. Romans, who has worked in the city for five years, joins the MediaCom China EXCO and will report to Rupert McPetrie, CEO of MediaCom China.

Tribal Worldwide appointed Herry Budiyanto as principal consultant for technology and Yak Yih Cheng as head of business technology consulting in Singapore. Budiyanto joined Tribal in 2015 and was previously with Mirum Singapore. Yak joined Tribal in 2017 following over 10 years at DDB, where he worked across business technology, data and CRM.  

Global small business accountancy platform Xero hired Text100 as its communications agency for Singapore and Hong Kong. Text100 will lead the company's PR strategy. 

Hong Kong's IFC Mall appointed Sinclair to lead PR and communications strategy. The agency will work on awareness among media, influencers and consumers, including launching a strategic influencer outreach programme and devising and implementing strategy for media and VIP events.

Saatchi & Saatchi Greater China announced that Wong Wai (Joe) has joined as executive creative director of South China. Before joining Saatchi & Saatchi, Joe worked as ECD for DDB Group Beijing and thereafter at McCann & Spencer Hong Kong. The agency’s previous ECD Paul Ho has moved onto a new role as Publicis Communications ECD, Shopper.

Reuter Communications has won the China communications retainer for global luxury fashion technology platform, Farfetch. The agency will be responsible for media strategy, launches, public relations, influencer and celebrity marketing and engagement, and event management.

Mobvista named Ramon Zhu as VP of AI and machine learning. He was the co-founder of GoSo.cn and later worked at Alibaba, where he helped to create the personalized recommendation systems underpinning mobile apps such as Taobao (580 million users) and Tmall (over 500 million monthly users), according to the company.
