Microsoft Asia appointed Marina Levina as Asia director of communications. Levina has 25 years' experience including 10 at Microsoft, where most recently she led commercial communications in Asia. Before that, she led Microsoft's comms team in Russia and was VP of comms at Ericsson in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Levina's new role sees her lead the regional communications team, which supports 17 APAC markets.  

In addition, Microsoft also appointed Edelman Singapore as agency of record covering corporate, commercial, consumer and analyst relations at the Asia HQ level. The appointment doesn't affect Microsoft's existing comms agency relationships in individual markets across Asia. 

French branding and design agency Team Creatif has opened in Singapore, its second APAC office following Jakarta which opened in 2014. The new office is headed by managing director Roger Mulchandani, formerly head of business at Dentsu X, supported by regional creative director Jerome Lecabellec.

MSL has named Nicole Scull as MD and global leader of the agency's P&G business. Previously, Scull was an SVP at MSL, leading the P&G feminine care team and baby care team for North America. She began working at MSL in 2008 as a VP, a position she held until 2013, when she was promoted to SVP for consumer.

Lazada Singapore CMO Jean Thomas will be leaving the ecommerce platform in mid-July for an undisclosed career opportunity, the company said in a statement. 

The Australian advertising and customer experience agency The Works has a new managing partner to lead its expanding Melbourne office in the form of Bridget Cleary, who joins from the independent agency Big Red, where she was CEO. Cleary will work alongside Kevin Macmillan, co-founder and creative partner at The Works. 

Ogilvy Australia is now the creative master agency for the Transport for NSW Road Safety portfolio, aiming to help change road user behavior and improve safety. Work will be led from the Ogilvy Sydney office, which has signed a multi-year partnership deal with TfNSW. Rita Harding, executive director, marketing & campaigns at Transport for NSW said the agency demonstrated "great strategic insight" throughout the pitch process.  

William Ferrell becomes head of consulting at iProspect Hong Kong, where part of his role will be to strengthen the agency's consulting offering. Ferrell was previously consulting director, data and analytics, APAC at Ogilvy Consulting. 

Full-service digital marketing agency Lion & Lion, which has six offices across Asia, has a new CEO in the form of Fredrik Gumpel, who replaces Casper Andersen. 

Global streaming platform ZEE5today appointed Lowe Lintas as its global creative partner across international markets following a multi-agency pitch. The brand will be handled by the agency’s Mumbai office.

WPP global client lead and GroupM global blockchain solutions lead Gowthaman Ragothaman has confirmed to Campaign he is leaving WPP and GroupM for new Singapore-based opportunities, which he expects to announce soon. 'G-man' as he was widely known at GroupM, held critical roles at Mindshare APAC in developing Future Adaptive Specialist Teams (FAST) and new blockchain technologies.  

Mihisara De Waas and Jyotsna Poosalingam have announced the launch of Some Damn Agency in New Zealand as founders. De Waas worked as programmatic manager and specialist at VMLY&R and OMD in New Zealand, while Poosalingam was performance director at Dentsu Aegis Network NZ and has been an optimisation specialist at Google. 

Gary Teo has returned to VMLY&R Asia to become the agency's managing director of experiences and technology. Teo led the agency's technology practice when he first joined VML(Y&R) in 2013 but most recently was marketing technologies lead at Accenture. Teo's immediate focus will be working with clients on applying customer experience (CX) and data-driven marketing technology.
