R/GA announced the departure of APAC VP and ECD Bob Mackintosh, who will take time out from the industry and has plans to spend the rest of the year traveling with his family. He was with R/GA for two years. The agency said it will announce a replacement shortly.
Ogilvy has announced that Shirley Tay is returning to the agency as executive group director in Singapore, effective immediately. In her new role, Tay will drive integrated marketing work across industries in Singapore and internationally. Tay began her marketing career with Ogilvy in Singapore but most recently was chief executive officer of Y&R Singapore and also served as managing director and founding partner at creative agency Zoo Group.
The South China Morning Post (SCMP) has appointed Elgen Kua to be director of corporate communications effective immediately. Prior to joining SCMP, Elgen was the marketing and communications director at the global sports agency MP & Silva.
