Mondelez holds internal 'Digital Day' to brush up on tech knowledge

Mondelez's 'digital day', held in Shanghai on 27 May, is now in its sixth edition since its beginnings in 2009. The purpose was to get the marketing department to "freshen up" their minds to the revolutionary digital landscape; to inspire marketing ideas by introducing success stories from industry pioneers; and to move to the forefront of technology. This year's theme 'Back to Origin' delivers the message that marketers should insist on focusing on the fundamentals in today's changing world by staying close to the consumer, said Rasheed Zhao, associate marketing director for IMC, Digital & Media at Mondelez China. The whole-day event consists of two main sessions: speeches from Baidu, Dentsu, Tencent Mind, Meitu Inc, LeTV, Google, AdMaster, and subsequent tech presentations by the same guests.
