Weber Shandwick has been appointed by networking solutions company Netgear, to increase understanding and awareness of its brand and products in Australia and New Zealand.

“Netgear has made huge inroads as a company to become number one in wireless networking for both its consumer and SMB products in the past two years. We want to ensure we’re driving better customer engagement and education of the benefits of our product suite and believe that Weber Shandwick has the right team to evolve our communications in this direction,” said Ryan Parker, managing director, Netgear Australia and New Zealand.

“The agency’s strong consumer and SMB technology record gives us confidence that they are best-placed to meet our business and marketing objectives,” he added.

“Partnering with Netgear gives us the opportunity to bring our experience across B2B, SMB and consumer technology together to offer strategic counsel,” said Lisa Popplewell, general manager, Weber Shandwick Australia.

The agency will give Netgear a holistic approach to build its profile with new audiences, Popplewell said.
