SHANGHAI - Ogilvy & Mather Greater China vice-chairman Joseph Wang (pictured) is to depart the agency after thirteen years.

Wang to depart Ogilvy & Mather
Wang, who will leave at the end of August, told Media that he had decided it was time for a change. After joining Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong in 1995, Wang shifted to China in 2004, becoming Shanghai and Southern China chairman.

In 2007, he was named vice-chairman of Greater China, leading the Disney and Tudor accounts and splitting his time between Hong Kong and Shanghai. “I thought I would take break and see what comes next,” he said. An Ogilvy spokesperson declined to comment on Wang’s departure, or on whether he would be replaced.
