QUEEN SIRIKIT NATIONAL CONVENTION CENTRE (QSNCC)
The venue offers event planners a four-zone complex with four storeys of 23,050 sqm
in exhibition space next to a three-storey, 22,500 sqm structure with a 5,500-seat
plenary hall and four meeting rooms.
Distance from airport: 30 minutes.
Nearest hotels: The 1,300-room Imperial Queen’s Park and 407-room Rembrandt Hotel.
Recent clients: A Microsoft product launch for 1,000 participants. The 7,000-delegate
International Congress of Allergy and Clinical Immunology will be held there in December.

BANGKOK INTERNATIONAL TRADE & EXHIBITION CENTRE (BITEC)
The 30,000 sqm BITEC exhibition venue has plans to triple its floor space. BITEC currently
holds events for up to 20,000 delegates and 100,000 visitors a day. Four divisible rooms
totalling 20,000 sqm and a 10,000 sqm columnfree hall are well suited for exhibitions,
banquets and plenary sessions. The centre’s 16 breakout rooms offer additional space for
meetings of between 60 and 450 people. The venue also provides event planners with
on-site catering and a one-stop service centre.
Distance from airport: 14 kilometres.
Nearest hotels: The Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport, Novotel Bangna with eight function
rooms and the Royal Princess Srinakarin.
Recent clients: Reed Tradex’s annual Metalex exhibition, which delivered 45,000 audited
buyers to 2,500 exhibitors, the Home and Garden Fair with 500,000 visitors and the
Siemens 13-day Exiderdome.

IMPACT
IMPACT offers event planners 160,220 sqm of space, starring the 60,000 sqm, column-free
Challenger Exhibition Hall and 16 meeting rooms, each with 88 to 214 sqm of space.
Organisers can also book the eight-hall, 47,000 sqm Exhibition Centre with six breakout rooms, the 30,000 sqm Convention Centre with six 500 sqm meeting rooms and the 12,000-seat IMPACT Arena.
IMPACT’s new US$16 million, 3,500 sqm Royal Jubilee Ballroom – Thailand’s largest –
seats 2,500 for banquets and 3,500 in a theatre configuration, while the 2,000 sqm Grand
Diamond Ballroom is ideal for mid-sized functions. IMPACT also features the 4,000 sqm Sky Kitchen with 13 restaurants.
Distance from airport: 45 minutes. It recently launched a bus service from the Skytrain.
Nearest hotels: IMPACT is investing US$270 million over two years in a 500-room,
five-star hotel and shopping centre.
Recent clients: Past events include conferences for Amway and Giffarine, a cosmetics
manufacturer), Miss Universe 2005 and the 15th International Aids Conference.

ROYAL PARAGON HALL
Bangkok’s newest venue, the US$10.5 million Royal Paragon Hall, offers event planners
12,000 sqm of convention and exhibition space in the exclusive Siam Paragon shopping mall.
Royal Paragon’s three halls can be configured to accommodate up to 5,200 delegates and 300 booths. Five meeting rooms can each seat up to 24 classroom style.
Distance from airport: Situated in Bangkok’s downtown business district, the Paragon is
a 30-minute drive from the airport.
Nearest hotels: The nearby 400-room, six-star Kempinski Hotel Siam is scheduled to open in 2009. The 429-room Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square with six meeting rooms right across the street and the 462-room Pathumwan Princess with its 300-person banquet room. There are other five-star hotels in the nearby Rajaprasong area including the Grand Hyatt Erawan, the InterContinental Bangkok and the Four Seasons.
