The campaign will be run largely on social media, and has been launched to coincide with the UN-endorsed awareness-raising day, 25 November.
It centres on the key image of a punching bag, with the confronting tagline "Unfortunately, this is how some men see women".
Patrick D'souza, CEO of the Planning Agency, said the idea was to "pull no punches" with the campaign that he hopes will go viral from today.
He says the pro-bono work was based on an issue that he and his team felt strongly about. "Its not for awards, its for a cause we genuinely believe in," he said. "One in three women globally is at the receiving end of violence, that's a pretty uncool stat we want to see reduced.
"Violence against women in any form cannot be condoned. The Planning Agency is doing its bit to highlight this by drawing attention to the fact that the 25th (of November) is the International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women."
The campaign is designed to run globally and is now being dispatched to women's and social justice organisations across the world, including Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and India.
