MEC is now media agency-of-record for the Tempo Group’s entire brand portfolio, which includes Revlon, DKNY and Tommy Hilfiger.

The agency won the account following a four-way pitch involving MPG, Carat and Starcom. Dentsu Media was the incumbent.

Ajay Gupte, technical advisor at MEC Indonesia, said his agency won the pitch with a "truly integrated media approach".

He said, “We are very proud that the Tempo Group has entrusted us with their brands. 2012 is our 10th anniversary and it’s turning out to be a big year for us here in Indonesia.”

This marks the sixth new business win for MEC in 2012. Other new clients are TVS Motor, Manulife Insurance, Belfoods, Hawley & Hazel and Pizza Hut Delivery.
