The bureau is targeting regional and offshore conferences which can be finalised and deliver results within a short period.
The campaign is expected to generate between US$27 million and US$70,000 million for the country.
Conventions with fewer than 1,000 delegates but more than 100 delegates will be considered, on a pro-rata basis. Events must be held before the end of September 2009 and applications must be submitted 90 days prior to the convention.

BANGKOK Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has initiated its new 'Thanks a Million' campaign which promises to reimburse one million baht (US$32,000) to cover local expenses for any 1,000-delegate convention that lasts a minimum of three days.
