Synovate names qualitative research director for Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR - Synovate has appointed Dr. Christina Lee (pictured) as its qualitative research director in Malaysia.

Lee joins from the research firm’s Indonesia office where she served in the same capacity. Prior to Synovate, she was research consultant to Nielsen Indonesia.

Reporting to Malaysian MD, Steve Murphy, Lee’s appointment reflects the research firm’s expansion across the region.

"Our qualitative team generates significant business for us. Lee’s appointment sharpens our focus on this part of our business," said Murphy.

In October, Synovate named Millward Brown Firefly’s regional qualitative director, Gordon Milne, as executive director, to head its qualitative research business in South Asia.

More recently in November, Pamela Welch from London-based consultancy, 5one Retail Marketing, as key account director for Southeast Asia.
