STB Assistant Chief Executive (Business Travel & MICE Group) Aloysius Arlando said: "The division's role is to plan and implement various events and programmes to ensure that the foreign delegates attending the 2006 Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group in September have memorable experiences from pre-arrival to post-departure." Other changes include Kikuchi Shigeru, previously deputy director, Special Projects, Service Culture, who joined the BTMICE Group as deputy director, Special Projects, in the Group's Strategic Development and Communications Division. He will develop and execute a corporate outreach programme to tap the international corporate communities here in order to market Singapore as a CEI destination. Chandrika Shantilal has been appointed director, Business Events Services Division, which facilitates and coordinates the planning and execution of business events. The division also collaborates with industry partners to create new experiences, products and packages for meetings and business events, and attracts incentive travel groups to Singapore.
