Audi China has appointed Ruder Finn to handle PR and media relations for its Audi R8 LMS Cup, following a pitch against undisclosed agencies in April.

Stella Zhou, VP of Ruder Finn Asia, told PRWeek that Ruder Finn China has been Audi’s PR retainer agency in China from 1999 to 2010, and has worked for Audi on a number of projects since then.

Audi China organises the racing series as part of the Audi Sport customer racing Asia programme. Launched in China in 2012, the Audi R8 LMS Cup is the first and only brand cup for Audi. Independent PR agency PR Plus has worked on this project previously.
