Rebecca Yen appointed to lead Mediabrands Taiwan
The three businesses that comprise Mediabrands in Taiwan - media agencies Universal McCann and Initiative, as well as media trading company Magna – will report to Yen. The three businesses will remain separate entities under the new management structure.

For the past four years Yen has worked as vice-president and general manager of Taiwan’s Matisse Scotch Whisky Group. Previously she was deputy general manager of Mindshare Taiwan, having also held the positions of TV buying director and planning director at Mindshare.

Prior to her media career Yen worked in planning and account management for JWT and Lintas, now known as Lowe.

Concurrent with Rebecca Yen’s arrival at Mediabrands, Tracy Huang has been appointed deputy general manager of Initiative Taiwan. Huang has previously worked for Dirk Brand Communications, JWT and has spent nine years at Mindshare Taiwan. She replaces Max Tsou, who resigned from Initiative in November and will leave following a handover with Huang.
