NEW DELHI - Rapp India has appointed Venkat Mallik (pictured) as the president of its India operations.

Malik joins Rapp India from PRS-Permacel, formerly a Johnson & Johnson company, where he was business head of the brand risk management business.

Commenting on the appointment, Mohammed Sirajuddeen, CEO of Rapp Asia, said: “India, along with China, is Rapp Asia’s growth engine. Venkat’s appointment as president reinforces our commitment to deliver world-class data-driven marketing services to our clients in this part of the world.”

Malik has 23 years of experience, including profit centre management, building and remodelling start-ups and handling successful global brands. He has experience from agencies such as JWT and Leo Burnett and was also the managing director of Level Up, an online game publishing company.
