PRWeek announces first Global Awards & Congress

The power of the PR industry is a key factor in the growth of global business, and communications is the one discipline that operates across different stakeholder groups and communities. It helps companies tell their stories to new markets and audiences using every available channel.

The PRWeek Global Awards honor the transformative work that crosses borders, building brands and trust, and enabling the growth of international enterprise. It is the only awards program that benchmarks the most important work stretching across multiple markets around the world.

The winners will be those brands and organizations that produce transformational work and run first-rate communications of all kinds.

PRWeek will celebrate the winners at a two-day event in mid-May 2014 (date and location TBA), which will include a conference featuring case studies from the shortlisted entries, as well as the launch of PRWeek’s global Hall of Fame. Much more than just an awards show, the global conference will be the convening ground for global best practice and groundbreaking work in international public relations.

At a glance:

  • Awards entry deadline: 27 February
  • Requirements: Each entry requires a two-page written submission to be uploaded via the Awards website along with any additional support materials. Full category and criteria information can be found on www.prweekglobalawards.com
  • Judges: We are currently taking nominations for the 2014 judging panel: please visit www.prweekglobalawards.com to put forward any nominations
  • Congress: The two-day event will take place in May 2014. There will be sessions surrounding issues currently facing global communications strategy as well as the induction ceremony for the PRWeek Global Hall of Fame.

Please note: The PRWeek Global Awards is separate from the PRWeek Awards Asia. An announcement about this year's PRWeek Awards Asia will be forthcoming shortly.
