Both accounts have appointed Pi PR as its retainer agency to oversee and manage its media relations, communications strategies, media campaigns and overall PR strategy in Malaysia.

Fujitsu PC Asia-Pacific Malaysia has tasked the agency to revamp the brand as "a premier work productivity and lifestyle communication device that incorporates unique Japanese ‘Takumi’ designs with superior processing, storage and hardware durability specifications," according to the brand.

Meanwhile Oracle has appointed the agency to drive its visibility in the local market as the company embarks on a strategic market initiative for its various enterprise-level software and hardware solutions.

The account managers for Fujitsu PC and Oracle at Pi PR are Fatema Mikdad and Judy Wong, respectively.

“Pi PR has indeed established its credibility in the market place as a top-notch and reliable PR agency,” Lee Ting Ting, managing director at Pi PR, commented on the wins.

Established in 2009, Pi PR specialises in technology accounts and handles IT-related brands such as Sourcefire, NetGEAR, Global Transit, Huawei Symantec, AIMS Group, SAS, Fujitsu, MYKRIS, Exabytes, National Internet Exchange (MyIX) and Polycom.

“I look forward to setting new levels of technology communication and messaging for them in Malaysia,” Lee said. “We are encouraged that the huge emphasis Pi puts into groundwork research as the fundamental requirement to delivering world-class IT PR services is finally paying off in a big way as large IT names put their trust in us.”
