Ortus picked for ACLP branding in Beijing

SHANGHAI - Beijing's Airport City Development Company (ACL) has appointed Ortus Group to develop a through-the-line promotional campaign for its Airport City Logistics Park (ACLP), following a pitch that is understood to have included several international PR and advertising firms.

Ortus picked for ACLP branding in Beijing
The initiative will reportedly consist of public relations, advertising, and events components to raise awareness of the development, particularly among international logistics providers. Ortus will also be responsible for media buying and the creative design of all marketing materials. In addition, interactive technology-focused sister agency Archiive is expected to develop 3D animation and a sales and leasing platform.

The ACLP will cover an area of three square kilometres within the city’s Tianzhu free trade zone and will be predominantly employed to raise efficiency in customs clearance.

A spokesperson for Ortus Group, describing the ACLP as “a pioneer project”, explained that the ACL was seeking to replicate the “one stop shop logistics platform” model across up to twenty cities in China.

The spokesperson added that the project would gradually extend to encompass leisure, tourist and residential facilities as an ultra-modern “city within a city.”

While the branding campaign will be ongoing, the initial stages are expected to be implemented at the beginning of next year.
