Oreo gives Alphaeus Tan a well-deserved cookie

The Twitterverse erupted last Friday when Alphaeus Tan, a student at Malaysia's Monash University, asked Barack Obama to raise the issue of transparency and corruption with the PM of Malaysia. Tan posed the question during an ASEAN youth town hall meeting at Taylor's University in Malaysia. Many commented that Tan deserved a cookie for confronting the US president with such a good question.

So naturally, Oreo SENT Tan a "bucketload" of cookies and posted about it on Twitter. 

 

Turns out, Tan isn’t just bright, but also generous; he decided to donate his goodie bag to House of Joy, a charity home that helps orphans. Thanks, Tan, for warming the cockles of Ad Nut's heart.
