Effective immediately, Terry takes charge of all Omnicom Media Group assets in Australia and New Zealand, including managing 11 offices across OMD, PHD, M2M and Total Media.

He will be based in Sydney and report to OMG Asia-Pacific CEO Barry Cupples. Speaking of Terry's promotion, Cupples said the ANZ market is "a jewel in the OMG crown" where the company aims to not only maintain its number one position, but also aggressively grow its brand.

"Leigh has established himself not just in the digital space internationally, but as a respected agency leader in Australia and he is perfectly placed to take OMG ANZ to even greater heights,” he added.

Terry joined OMD in the UK in 1998 as head of digital. Four years later he relocated to OMD Australia where he quickly rose up the ranks to managing partner in 2006.
