OMD snags a larger share of Sentosa

SINGAPORE - Sentosa Leisure Management has appointed OMD Singapore as its media agency for online and offline duties.

The client did not hold a pitch, according to sources. GroupM agency MEC was the incumbent. OMD declined to comment.

Earlier, Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) picked OMD as its media agency following a pitch. (Sentosa Leisure Management, a subsidiary of SDC, is responsible for tactical marketing efforts to promote Sentosa as a destination.)

In October, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) initiated a regional media review and is believed to have shortlisted Carat and Maxus.

Resorts World Sentosa is owned by Genting Singapore, part of the Genting Group.
