The latter’s Singapore agency won Office of the Year, while the network’s international president Keith Smith was named Regional Agency Head of the Year. TBWA\Tequila Singapore’s global account director, Lou Dela Pena, was named Account/Business Development Person of the Year for her role in winning the Singapore Airlines and Sentosa Resorts World business.

Mediaedge:cia edged out OMD to claim the Media Agency of the Year title for the first time, impressing the judges with communications planning for Singapore Airlines, Colgate and Sony Ericsson. But it was OMD China’s managing director Elaine Ip who was named National Agency Head of the Year.

Creative of the Year went to McCann Erickson’s regional executive creative director Prasoon Joshi, while MediaCom Singapore’s Preeti Kumar was recognized as the region’s best media planner/buyer in 2007.

Nokia’s Chris Leong was named Client Marketer of the Year, and the newly introduced category Brand of the Year was awarded to Toyota. The last 12 months not only saw the Japanese company overtake General Motors to become the world’s largest carmaker, but lead the industry with its approach to sustainability.
