Created in 2006, Music Matters has expanded from a two-day conference to a full programme for music and digital entertainment industry professionals, and incorporates Music Matters Live music festival featuring performances from Asian and international music artists.

Jasper Donat, co-founder of Branded and president of Music Matters said that Singapore’s exceptional infrastructure for international events and thriving entertainment scene will give them an opportunity to take Music Matters 2011 to the next level.

As the rapidly-evolving digital entertainment landscape creates new opportunities to monetise music and video content, for 2011 the programme will increase from two to four days and will include sessions on all forms of digital video entertainment including movies, video gaming, television and advertising.

Launched in 2010, the inaugural Music Matters Live with H&M music festival featured 37 bands from 12 countries performing in Hong Kong’s Lan Kwai Fong premier entertainment district.  Music Matters Live 2011 will once again give the bands a rare opportunity to mix and meet with major music industry heavyweights who are attending Music Matters. Bands wishing to perform during Music Matters Live in Singapore can register on the web site to be selected.
