McCann Worldgroup has appointed Caspar Ouvaroff as president of MRM McCann Japan. He replaces Miho Shiozaki, who spent eight years at the company.
Ouvaroff was previously SVP and group account director at MRM McCann in New York, where he led the agency’s United States Postal Service account.
Prior to that, he worked at TBWA Chiat Day New York and ran his own agency that serviced brands including AXA Financial and Victoria’s Secret.
In his new role, Ouvaroff reports to Charles Cadell, president and CEO of McCann Worldgroup Japan as well as president of Asia-Pacific, and Kate MacNevin, global president of MRM McCann.
Separately, McCann Worldgroup this week named Alex Lopez as its first chief creative officer for Japan.
