Vemuri is to oversee the research, analytics and insight generation developments of the Japanese operation. He is to set strategic choices for consumer connection, provide market research, consumer communications in media and ROI. One of his focuses is also on developing data technology automation initiatives.
Vemuri will manage the entire client portfolio at Mindshare and key accounts for MEC.
His fifteen years experience span across Ogilvy & Mather, Hero Group, MediaCom and Reliance ADA Groups in India.
On his relocation to Japan, Vermuri said, “Navigating, culture, cuisine and language are some challenges in the new role. On a more serious note, understanding of the business landscape, and the intricacies there in; demonstrating the delivery capabilities and their effectiveness by notching early (and sustainable) wins are the key challenges”
