Mickey Zhang becomes head of GroupM Search, replacing Sara Ye

SHANGHAI - GroupM China appoints Mickey Zhang as head of search, to replace Sara Ye who has resigned.

Zhang (pictured) brings to GroupM extensive experience and knowledge in digital advertising and search-engine marketing. Prior to joining GroupM, she was vice president, marketing and sales of LvPing.com. She has also worked in senior roles at Baidu, Google and eBay China.

Zhang will be based in Shanghai and take the lead to drive and explore innovative search-based marketing solutions across all platforms for GroupM China. She reports to Tony Chen, president, GroupM Interaction, China. 

Ye was promoted from head of search to managing director of Search/Digital Lab last September.
