MediaCom China hires head of insights from McDonald’s Malaysia

SHANGHAI - MediaCom China has appointed Saw Gin Toh as head of insights for China to oversee the existing insights team and work on the agency's strategic offering.

She will report directly to chief strategy officer cum managing director for China, Gordon Domlija.

Toh began her career as a strategic planner at JWT Malaysia where she worked with clients such as Unilever and Nestle and subsequently on GSK, Audi and VW throughout her tenure with DDB and TBWA.

She then went to Mindshare to focus on content strategy and integrated campaign development for Unilever and PepsiCo. Her most recent role saw her leading the consumer and business insights team at McDonald’s Malaysia.

“MediaCom has a vision that appealed to my passion: a desire to really understand how people connect in the modern world and a drive to create original consumer-centric communications," she said.
