MEA event heads to Alice Springs

ALICE SPRINGS The Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) National Conference will be held in the Outback town of Alice Springs on May 23 to 28, 2008.

NTCB manager Lynn Fairbrass said: "This lucrative event that will attract up to 600 meeting and events professionals to Central Australia." She added: "The MEA conference in 2008 will be invaluable for meeting planners and decision makers to gain first-hand experience of Alice Springs and other renowned Territory regions." The programme will include a tour of the new Darwin Convention Centre and Uluru (Ayers Rock) for qualified meeting planners.
