Both positions were effective March 1.

Read will remain based in Singapore, where he has served as regional strategy director since 2013.

Worman has served as ‘caretaker’ of McCann Health Asia Pacific, in addition to his global marketing responsibilities, since 2014 when Amar Urhekar was named president of McCann Health Americas.

Read brings a "wealth of knowledge and experience" to building the agency's platform offer, developing its people and creating value for clients, John Cahill, McCann Health global CEO, said in a press release. “His deep understanding of the Asia Pacific region and his strategic prowess will greatly enhance the development of the next phase of the McCann Health network in AP,” he added.

Worman's role will be to ensure the agency remains in tune with clients’ changing needs and developing highly customised solutions for their brands, Cahill said.
