The computer maker is promoting its upcoming Lenovo Tech World Event in Beijing with a content initiative based on hacks—both for computers and life in general.

Lenovo offers hacks for chilling wine, slicing tomatoes

Tech World, taking place on 28 May, is a new event where CEO Yang Yuanqing will showcase innovative technologies, introduce new products and "share his vision of the future of technology with an audience of fans, partners, customers and press".

To drum up interest for the event, Lenovo is using the #ihackedlife hashtag and a microsite to gather some life-hack videos of its own, and those of fans.

 

The brand has also gotten YouTube sensation/brand ambassador Ryan Higa in on the act with a trio of his own amusing hacks:
