She noted that while the organisation had been active in Asia for around eight years, the focus had until recently been on operations in the US and Europe, and that her appointment to the newly created management position was reflective of increasing attention to the region.
Most recently, Cave held a government relations consulting role, also in Hong Kong. She has also held senior titles at member organisations such as Amcham and Casbaa.
Iprex comprises 64 partner firms across 86 global offices. According to Cave, it aims to provide independent public relations firms with access to a supportive network in a similar manner to a holding company. Its current reach in Asia Pacific covers Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo and Taipei.
