They will provide a deeper understanding of consumers and extract key insights from consumer research to form strategic platforms and stimulate creative ideas for the clients. The duo has worked together before at Lowe Thailand.

Kaitkanarat is named as MD strategy and innovation, replacing Mike de los Reyes, who will continue at the agency to lead the regional IPG Mediabrands analytics hub in Bangkok as performance director.

Previously managing director at Euro RSCG Bangkok, Kaitkanarat spent 11 years at Lowe Thailand. He started at the agency in 2000 as a strategic planning and research manager, working with brands such as Unilever, Thai Airways, Sony and IKEA. He left in 2011 as senior vice president.

A graduate in Master of Liberal Arts in Leadership and Management (Marketing) and a Master of Liberal Arts in Mass Communications (Advertising) from Oklahoma City University, he began his career at Dentsu Young & Rubicam (Thailand) in 1997, having worked on accounts such as Honda, Samsung, Frito Lays, Kraft food and Colgate.

Chantana Saengjaroensap, meanwhile, joins the team as associate director, strategy & innovation where she will be working with Kaitkanarat in strengthening the agencies strategic and innovative services. She started her career in 1997 as public relations officer and account executive at Blue Ribbon Advertising Agency.

Chantana worked in Lowe Thailand in 2006 as the strategic planning manager and left as associate director, strategic planning & research last year.

Wannee Ruttanaphon, chairman of IPG Mediabrands in Thailand, said, “We are pleased to have both Sora and Chantana join our team. They have worked well together before and between them they have a wealth of knowledge and experience that will play key roles in strengthening our strategic offerings across our list of clients.”
