Impact Asia expands in region

HONG KONG - Impact Asia is to expand its presence in Asia by opening offices in Beijing this month and Singapore in January.

This is in addition to its existing offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Partners Susan Field and Sarah Woodhouse will take up regional roles as CEO and MD respectively. Other staff moves within the company are Jeremy Cheung, previously group AD, now MD Hong Kong and Michelle Liu, formerly GM Shanghai now MD China, based in Shanghai.

Meanwhile, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (MOHG) has extended its PR contract with Impact Asia for their China market in 2009, after a three-way pitch. MOHG is opening two new hotels in Beijing and Sanya next year.

The agency has worked for MOHG in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia for 12 years.

The 18-year-old agency’s current client portfolio includes the Singapore Tourism Board, Melco China Resorts, Crystal Cruises and the Hong Kong International Art Fair.
