The communications firm will be handing media relations for June's event that includes a summit for industry leaders and a water technology convention and festival.

An award – the Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize - will also be presented to organizations that have contributed to advancing water technologies.

“We’re really happy to be part of this inaugural Singapore International Water Week. It’s an event of great significance to Singapore and we look forward to welcoming over 6,000 delegates from all over the world and working with the Singapore Public Utilities Board, which is behind this event,” said Adeline Goh, director of corporate sectors for Icon International Communications.

The Australian communications consultancy opened a Singapore office in 2005 and counts the World Effie Festival, the Singapore Airshow and the World Cities Summit as recently won clients.
