She is slated to move to Singapore in July and will become part of Hill & Knowlton’s Asia-Pacific regional team, reporting to regional president and COO, Vivian Lines.

Gourlay has been at the communications agency for 10 years, five of which she held the position of board director at Hill & Knowlton London and was the UK Technology Practice lead. She has been in the Middle East since 2006, where she oversaw business in Qatar and Kuwait.

Prior to joining Hill & Knowlton, she was the public relations manager at Dell EMEA.

Lines said the agency looked to appoint Gourlay to oversee its transnational communications because “we want to be even better at it, especially with emerging markets playing an increasingly important role globally”.
