Airport duty free shopping company Heinemann has hired Happy Marketer as its digital agency of record for Hong Kong.

Happy Marketer will help execute an integrated digital marketing campaign for Heinemann promoting its new Sweet Dreams confectionary stores at Hong Kong International Airport.

Prantik Mazumdar, managing partner at Happy Marketer, said the work will focus on social and programmatic digital media, and use proximity targeting. “Travel marketing is a growing segment in APAC and the power of digital marketing can be harnessed to engaging specific travel audiences with hyper-targeted brand messages.”

Johannes Sammann, COO at Heinemann APAC, said the company chose Happy Marketer because the agency has “innovative and creative digital solutions”.
